The fishing will be great this month

September is one of my favorite months to fish, The monster red fish come in from off shore to spawn, The trout start eating every thing they can find to fatten up for the winter, And the fall run of pelagics start to show up in the near shore waters. The flats will be covered with high fat and protein rich bait fish and that everything wants to eat.
If you plan on fishing with me this month you can expect getting started early and staying until the bite stops. The day will start by going to the spoil islands and getting your fill of those big red fish that make this time of year an easy trip. Then we will most likely try going out to about 15 to 20 feet for fish after fish surrounding the many different wrecks and reefs that litter the big bend area. After we have run out of live bait we will go back inshore and start looking for that day ending speckled trout bite that can some times be one after another on a artificial bait under a popping cork. Like I said this month will produce more that it fair share of "ROD BENDING DRAG SCREAMING ACTION" So call me and book your trip so you don't miss out on what could be the best fishing trip of your life
